Assessment Officer for Elderly Care in Lindesberg Municipality

We are now looking for you who want to contribute your skills and heart to our team of assessment officers within elderly care. At the Adult Support unit, we are a team consisting of assessment officers, LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) officers, and adult case managers. We are a team of 14 employees.

Job Responsibilities

• Investigate, assess, and decide on measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL).
• Conduct structured meetings and follow-ups with users, relatives, and service providers.
• Document according to current legislation and guidelines.
• Actively contribute to development and quality work within the unit.
• Collaborate with other professions, both internal and external.

Qualifications

• Has a degree in social work or other relevant higher education.
• Has the ability to make independent decisions and is confident in the authority role.
• Thrives on structuring, prioritizing, and creating clarity in your work.
• Is a good communicator, both in meetings with people and in writing.
• Has a professional approach and a warm view of humanity.
• Experience with authority functions or work within elderly care/disability support is meritorious, but personal qualities and the desire to develop also weigh heavily.
• Has a B driving license.
