The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this in youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse problems across the country. Job Description

Are you motivated by helping clients in vulnerable life situations? Are you also good at structuring and planning? Then the job as a Treatment Secretary at SiS might be right for you!

In the role of Treatment Secretary, you coordinate and plan the care and treatment for the client and ensure that work regarding them is carried out in accordance with SiS standardized treatment and implementation planning processes. You create treatment plans and, together with the client, follow up on and evaluate the care and treatment. Furthermore, you plan and lead the institution's treatment collegium, and guide treatment staff towards care and treatment goals in daily work. You also coordinate and plan external coordination meetings and maintain contact with social services and other authorities.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in the role of Treatment Secretary, you are motivated by working with and helping people in vulnerable life situations. You are structured and plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are secure and stable with a good ability to adapt to the situation. Furthermore, you are good at collaborating with others and have strong communication skills.

You must also have:

  • Relevant higher education such as a social worker degree or another behavioral science education that SiS considers equivalent and comprising at least 180 credits.
  • Experience working in operations focused on care and treatment, such as social services or other relevant operations.
  • Relevant knowledge of legislation, ethics, and approach for the task.
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both written and oral.

Employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
