ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Örebro. The position is a temporary hourly replacement. Our client is approved for double assistance during certain parts of the day, which means you will sometimes work with a colleague.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 - 08:00 with overnight standby/waiting time

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can start your introduction in August.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful and positive woman in her mid-30s. She has Cerebral Palsy and uses a wheelchair, so she needs help with all daily activities. As an assistant, you will accompany her to day activities and various events. Going on excursions and adventures is appreciated; you are more than welcome to suggest your own ideas for things to do outside the home.

The duties include, among other things:

• Assisting with transfers, hygiene, and meals

• Accompanying to various activities

As a person, you should be calm, understanding, positive, and flexible. You are responsible and attentive; you see what needs to be done and take initiative. We would like you to be active and eager to find things to do together with our client.

There are lifting aids in the home to facilitate transfers, but manual lifting also occurs. Therefore, you should not have any underlying back or neck problems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

• Care experience

• Driver's license (manual transmission)

Employment level: 75-100%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
