We are currently looking for you who want to become part of our lovely team and work as a personal assistant for our female client in Örebro.

What does this role entail?

Here you will work with an active client who enjoys finding new things to do, ranging from long walks to trips to Marieberg. We are looking for someone lively and active who can keep up with all the adventures the day offers. The client needs support in daily life with laundry, cooking, and cleaning, as well as assistance with managing their medical needs.

We see that you are confident in your role as an assistant and can sense when you need to step back, as well as handle situations as they arise.

Interest in cooking and baking is a plus, as is experience with tactile sign language.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and receptive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• Be able to understand and communicate in Swedish.
• Have a genuine interest in helping others.
• Be able to work flexible hours – days, evenings, and weekends as needed, including awake nights.
• Have experience in care and social services (a plus, but not a requirement).
• Have experience with diabetes.
• Have experience with tactile sign language.
• Be confident in yourself.

Additional Information

Employment type: Fixed-term for the duration of the assistance assignment.

Scope: We will be filling several positions: a couple of part-time roles at approx. 70%, two weekend shifts at approx. 20%, and an optional night shift at approx. 90%.

Working hours: 08:00–15:00, 15:00–21:00, 21:00–08:00. The start and end times may vary by an hour.

Start date: September 1, 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
