In Nora lives an eight-year-old boy who loves rock 'n' roll, swimming, and playing. He needs help in his daily life, and we hope to find an assistant who shares similar interests. He has a carefree attitude towards life, especially if you turn up the stereo to play hard rock or jump into the water for a dip. Then life is really good!

The Role of an Assistant

Being a personal assistant is a responsible role, believe me. You can say that you are someone else's "arms and legs," helping with the things the person can no longer do themselves. This can involve everything from taking a walk to helping them get dressed. Sometimes you cook meals or help the client with showering and toilet visits; everything depends on the client's conditions.

This role suits you if you are responsible and have a genuine desire to help others. You are likely described as a person with a big heart who enjoys making sure others feel good. About the Client

Our client is an 8-year-old boy living in Nora. He is a positive, lovely person with a passion for activities and fun. The boy has a congenital brain malformation that has caused cerebral palsy. He needs help with his entire daily routine. He requires active assistance to receive the stimulation he needs. Furthermore, he needs help with all personal care, and his meals are provided via a feeding tube (PEG). He has epilepsy.

As an assistant, you will help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and other personal needs. You will also join him in training, walks, and other activities he goes on. You will also help with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Requirements and Job Information

To succeed in this assistant role, we believe you are engaged, positive, and proactive. You likely have good physical fitness and enjoy speed and action, liking activities such as going to the playground, swimming, or taking long walks. You have the ability to take initiative and work independently, but you must also be able to read the room as you will be working within a family.

We believe that as an assistant, you have prior experience working with children with diverse abilities.

Working Hours

We are looking for staff for a scheduled shift during the period now – August 31st, as well as substitutes.

• Weekends: 08:00–18:00
• Weekday evenings: approx. 16:00–19:00
• During weeks 28, 29, 30 & 31, the assistance is scheduled between 08:00–18:00.

Having a car and driver's license is meritorious, as is prior experience working with children with special needs.

Other: We have a collective agreement, individual salary setting, and wellness benefits of up to 4,000 SEK/year.
