About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

Our customer is a social and talkative woman in her 30s who lives in the countryside a short distance outside Hallsberg. She has a spinal disc herniation and therefore needs some help and support in her daily life with tasks she cannot perform on her own. As an assistant, you will help and support her with, among other things, transferring to and from the power wheelchair, some personal hygiene, and certain activities in and outside the home. In her spare time, she enjoys watching speedway and attending car meets.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• previous experience in personal assistance or another care profession

• good knowledge of Swedish

• valid B driver's license and access to a car to commute to work

• tolerance for pets, there is a dog in the home

Merits for the position:

• shares the customer's interest in speedway and car meets

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working on an as-needed basis with varying working hours during the day and evening, and the length of work shifts is also variable.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or as agreed.
