Unika Bångbro is a group home with 5 places for individuals within personal group 1 under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
About the Role of Support AssistantAs a Support Assistant, you will work to provide individually adapted support to people with functional impairments, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, basing our work on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to be able to live a meaningful life with a high quality of life. As a Support Assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.
QualificationsYou are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a listening manner, and you enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Work Schedule: Variable, day, evening, and sleeping on-call shifts
