We are looking for personal assistants for a six-month-old girl — both for those who want to work on a fixed schedule and those who want to step in as temporary replacements when needed. The girl lives with her mother and father in a calm and welcoming home in the countryside between Fjugesta and Kumla. The family is open and values a good working atmosphere, and if you enjoy working with children and want to learn about the girl's needs, you can become an important part of her daily life.

The girl has completed her treatment and is now waiting to come home with her assistants. In this recruitment round, we therefore prioritize those who wish to work night shifts.

About the assignment The assignment is medically complex and requires 24-hour supervision. For medical reasons, you will always work as two assistants together — you are never alone with the responsibility. Being two also places demands on your interaction: you take turns with certain tasks and perform others side by side, and you and your colleague need to communicate throughout the entire shift.

Your main tasks are to monitor the girl's breathing, manage the tracheostomy tube, perform suctioning, and administer inhalations. These tasks are specialized and require focus and sustained attention throughout the work shift.

You will receive full training in all medical procedures and ongoing education during the assignment. Previous medical experience is not required — we train the right person.

The work takes place where the client is. This can mean quiet days at home as well as outings with the family, and you should enjoy country life.

Who are you as an applicant? The personal chemistry between you, the girl, and the family is crucial, and we place great emphasis on who you are as a person. We are looking for someone who sees personal assistance as a profession and approaches the assignment with empathy and professional care.

You are calm and attentive, and confident in your professional role. You are accustomed to working in someone else's home and respect the family's routines, privacy, and role in the girl's life. An important part of the job is reading the situation: sometimes you need to step forward and take charge, and sometimes you provide assistance more in the background so that the family has space to just be a family.

• A good team player who collaborates closely with both colleagues and the family

Requirements

• You do not smoke

• You are comfortable around pets (there are cats in the home)

• You have good Swedish skills in speech and writing

• Valid B driver's license.

The workplace is located in the countryside without bus connections, so you need a driver's license and access to a car to commute to and from work. If you live in Örebro, Kumla, Hallsberg, or Lekeberg, you can reach the workplace in about 20 minutes by car.

About the employment We are looking for both those who want a fixed schedule and those who want to work as temporary replacements when needed. Working hours vary between day, evening, and night according to the schedule, and in this round, we prioritize night shifts.

Start is immediate. You begin with introductory shifts together with specialized care staff at Örebro University Hospital (USÖ), so that you as an assistant get the best possible conditions before the girl comes home.
