Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Care (BUP) is tasked with providing specialized care to children and young people up to 18 years old with psychiatric conditions. Care is always provided in close collaboration with the child's network to create the best possible conditions for treatment and support. We work based on evidence-based methods to ensure safe and effective specialist psychiatric care. The operation is extensive and is carried out by a competent team with various professional roles: social workers, psychologists, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, special educators, care assistants, and medical care administrators. We are located in modern and pleasant premises in central Örebro. Here, there is a good work climate with a high ceiling, where collaboration and engagement are in focus. The social worker's task is to add specific psychosocial competence to the operation based on the social worker's area of knowledge. This means contributing a holistic perspective on the child's or young person's situation, where the interaction between the individual, family, and surrounding factors is considered. With their education, the social worker has special knowledge of social and psychosocial processes, family dynamics, living conditions, as well as risk and protective factors, which complements the perspectives of other professions. The task includes using this competence in assessment, mapping, and follow-up, as well as designing and implementing interventions directed primarily towards guardians. The social worker also contributes knowledge about social legal issues, society's support measures, and collaboration with other actors, and ensures that the psychosocial perspective is integrated into the care. The work is characterized by a professional, ethical, and scientific approach with the child's best interests in focus. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Parenting support - individual and group
• Psychoeducational interventions
• Mapping, anamnesis, and assessments
• Suicide preventive work
• Care and collaboration coordination with internal and external actors
• Depending on competence and experience, other tasks within the professional role and the operation's mission may also be added.

You will meet patients both on-site at the clinic and digitally. You will work both independently and in interdisciplinary teams, and participate in joint conferences and professional meetings. We collaborate extensively with childcare, schools, social services, and other operations within healthcare. The operation actively works on adapting and developing. A degree in Social Work is required, as well as experience within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or another operation targeting children and young people. It is meritorious to have a license as a healthcare social worker, as well as education and experience in individual and group interventions for the target group based on evidence-based methods.

The advertisement is conducted during the regular unit manager's vacation period, which may mean limited opportunities to answer questions. Questions are therefore referred to be asked in connection with a possible interview invitation. Selection begins in week 30, and interviews will be conducted during weeks 30, 31, and 32.
