In Nora lives a seven-year-old boy who loves rock 'n' roll, swimming, and playing. He needs help in his daily life, and we hope to find an assistant who shares similar interests. He has a carefree attitude towards life, especially when you turn up the stereo to play hard rock or jump into the water for a swim. Then life is really good!

Being an assistant:
Being a personal assistant is a responsible role, believe no other. You can say that you are someone else's "arms and legs"; you help with the things the person can no longer do themselves. This can involve helping with everything from taking a walk to getting dressed. Sometimes you cook or help the customer with showering and toilet visits, all depending on the customer's conditions.

This professional role suits you if you are responsible and have a genuine desire to help others. You are probably described as a person with a big heart who likes to make things happen so that others feel good. About the customer:
Our customer is an 8-year-old boy living in Nora. He is a positive, lovely person with a will and love for activities and play. The boy has a congenital brain malformation that has caused cerebral palsy. He needs help with his entire daily life. He needs active assistance to receive the stimulation he needs. Furthermore, he needs help with all personal care, and his meals are provided via a feeding tube (PEG). He has epilepsy.

As an assistant, you will help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and other personal needs. You will also participate in training, walks, and other activities the customer goes on. You will also help with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Requirements and job information:
To succeed in this assistant role, we believe you are engaged, positive, and proactive. You likely have good physical fitness and enjoy speed and excitement, liking activities such as going to the playground, swimming, or taking long walks. You have the ability to take initiative and work independently, but you must also be able to sense your surroundings as you will be working within a family.

We believe that as an assistant, you have prior experience working with children with disabilities.

Working hours:
We are looking for staff for a scheduled shift during the period May 3 – August 31, as well as substitutes.

Working hours:
Weekends: 08:00–18:00.
Weekday evenings: approx. 16:00–19:00.
During weeks 28, 29, 30 & 31, the assistance is scheduled between 08:00–18:00.

Having a car and a driver's license is an advantage, as is prior experience working with children with special needs.

Other:
We have a collective agreement, individual salary setting, and wellness benefits of up to 4,000 SEK/year.
