Do you want to make a difference in students' well-being? At Karolinska Gymnasium, you will play a key role in creating a safe and inclusive school environment.
About the position
As a counselor at Karolinska Gymnasium, you will primarily work with the Natural Science program and the Nature Management program, becoming an integral part of the school's student health team. You will work preventively and support students in their schooling, including coordinating social interventions for students who need extra support.
You will meet with students both individually and in groups, conduct support and crisis talks, and provide support in psychosocial matters. You will collaborate closely with teachers, guardians, the student health team, and external actors such as social services and child and adolescent psychiatry, contributing your expertise to the school's work for a safe and inclusive environment.

Karolinska Gymnasium is one of Örebro Municipality's four upper secondary schools. The school has a rich history and is located in the heart of central Örebro. Approximately 900 students and 100 employees have the school as their workplace. The school offers education in the university-preparatory aesthetic, natural science, and social science programs, as well as the vocational Nature Management program.
