As an employee at Novum Assistans, you are involved through regular workplace meetings where we develop our assignments together. We create the prerequisites for the tasks required by assistance and offer continuous competence development tailored to the needs of the assignment. This gives you the opportunity for personal development, both as an individual and in your professional role as a personal assistant.

Working hours vary between day, night, and weekends. During daytime hours, we always work with two assistants together.

The client is a 62-year-old man who uses a wheelchair. He leads an active life with many activities and has his own car, which provides freedom in daily life. During the summer, the client enjoys his vacation together with his assistants, and various day trips are organized. The assistant team is well-functioning, with staff who stay for long periods.

The assignment includes supporting the client with everything from daily chores, care, and personal hygiene to activities. Experience in similar care work and/or a nursing assistant education is advantageous.

We are looking for someone who is personally suitable for the assignment. For us, this means you are responsible, empathetic, and attentive. It is important that you are punctual and can adhere to schedules, but also flexible enough to step in and cover staffing gaps when needed. We value someone who is confident and enjoys taking initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others.

As a person, you are social, goal-oriented, attentive, patient, and positive. Good physical fitness is a plus. The personal chemistry and interaction between you as the assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work.

You will receive training and introduction regarding medical tasks, as well as continuous competence development based on the needs of the assignment.

• A driver's license is a significant asset
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required

We offer a summer temporary position as well as needs-based employment during the spring.

The employment is hourly-based and occurs as needed.

We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations are according to the collective agreement.

The selection process is ongoing. More information about the assignment will be provided during a potential interview. Start date is by agreement. To be employed by Novum Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service.
