Job Description: Payroll Specialist and Senior Payroll Specialist

Are you a confident, experienced, and independent payroll expert ready for the next step in your career? Do you have system competence, preferably in SuccessFactors, Quinyx, and/or POL, and want to work in a broad role with significant autonomy? Then this might be the right opportunity for you!

We are looking for two payroll specialists who want to help build and drive our payroll center. Here, you will work with the entire payroll process, support the business with HR and payroll-related questions, and contribute to improvements. You will become a key person in our payroll team and have significant responsibility.

About the Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will work in a broad and developmental role where you combine operational payroll management with system administration and improvement work. You have a wide network within the organization and enjoy taking ownership of your area. You work closely with the Payroll Manager and colleagues in the Payroll and People teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the entire payroll process for approx. 1,000 employees (both unionized and non-unionized), including payroll calculation, time systems, absence management, etc.
• Ensure accurate payments and payroll statements.
• Reporting to authorities, as well as generating statistics and data for SSP Group.
• Manage routines and system settings related to payroll processing (including POL, SuccessFactors, and Quinyx).
• Handle simpler HR and payroll-related administrative tasks, e.g., supporting financial closing.
• Lead and participate in development projects related to systems and processes within payroll.
• Provide advice and support to managers on matters related to payroll, HR, and systems.

Who are you?

We are looking for both a Payroll Specialist and a Senior Payroll Specialist. For the senior role, we see that you have at least five years of experience in qualified payroll work.

You have relevant post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or HR and a good understanding of both finance/accounting and HR and payroll-related issues. You have experience working in time and staffing systems and feel confident in your skills.

To thrive in this role, we believe you are service-oriented, have high integrity, and are accustomed to working independently, structured, and meticulously. You have a strong interest in systems and enjoy a role where you take ownership and drive improvements.

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience from the restaurant, service, or retail industries, as well as if you have worked with POL, SuccessFactors, and Quinyx.
