SJR is now looking for a Head of Accounting for an international technology company in strong growth, with offices in Järfälla. Here you are offered a broad and responsible role where you will work with both operational accounting and complex accounting-related issues in a dynamic and development-oriented environment.

The assignment is a temp-to-perm position with a planned start in August or September. You will initially be employed as a consultant through SJR for six months, with the ambition to subsequently be offered a permanent position directly with the client company. About the role

The role offers broad responsibility within statutory accounting, group accounting, and financial reporting, while also contributing to the development and efficiency of the finance function's processes and working methods. You will become part of an engaged finance team and work closely with the CFO, Finance Manager, and other stakeholders in the business. The position involves many contact surfaces, both internally and externally, and suits you who thrive in a dynamic environment where quality, structure, and development are in focus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for company accounting, closing, and ongoing accounting issues.
• Prepare group consolidation and participate in financial reporting to management, board, and external stakeholders.
• Handle tax calculations, declarations, and issues regarding VAT and tax.
• Be the contact person for external auditors and support the organization with accounting-related questions and assessments.
• Work with IFRS-related accounting issues, including lease and hedge accounting.
• Responsible for the group consolidation system and contribute to the development of system support and processes.
• Drive and coordinate economy-related projects.
• Contribute to internal control, compliance, and corporate law issues.
• Identify and implement improvement initiatives to streamline the finance function's working methods.

Suitable background

We are looking for you who have an academic education in economics and several years of experience in qualified accounting work. You have either worked in audit or in an accounting role where you have gained good experience in closing, group accounting, and financial reporting, preferably from a larger or manufacturing operation. You feel confident working with IFRS and have a good understanding of complex accounting issues. Furthermore, you have experience with tax and VAT issues, as well as very good system proficiency and advanced knowledge in Excel. Experience from a listed environment or work with consolidation systems is meritorious. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
