Here you will play a central role in creating safety and community, where every student receives the right support to develop. Together with a dedicated team, you contribute to a school where relationships, collaboration, and student well-being are always the focus.

Your responsibilities

You work closely with the students and provide individual support and coaching based on their needs, focusing on strengthening both learning and well-being. You plan, lead, and develop group activities that contribute to increased community and social skills, while actively working to build and strengthen the students' social networks. As part of the student health team, you work preventively with a special focus on students with social problems, sometimes in combination with learning difficulties, and actively contribute to the school's values-based work.

You have close collaboration with guardians, the student health team, and other staff, and participate in meetings as needed to create the best possible conditions for each student. The role may also include targeted support for students in KSU groups as well as collaboration with social services, child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP), and other external actors. The assignment also includes a central role in the school's conflict management work, where you contribute to a safe and inclusive climate.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have a vocational higher education (YH) with a focus on social pedagogy, or alternatively 30 credits within pedagogy or behavioral science. You have a strong commitment to students' safety and well-being at school, good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, and are accustomed to using computers and other digital aids in your daily work. Experience of working within the school system and with students in need of support is an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have experience of collaboration with external actors such as social services, BUP, and the police.

You are flexible, self-reliant, and want to create the best conditions for learning based on each student's prerequisites and needs. You have a clear student focus, the ability to build good relationships, and collaborate well with students, colleagues, guardians, and school leadership in a listening and constructive manner. Being calm, secure, and having a low-affective approach is important in the role.

Before you can be employed, you need to show a clean extract from the police's criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit.
