We are currently looking for a new assistant at 50–75% for a fantastic 15-year-old girl with significant medical needs in Västerås. About the role

In the role of personal assistant, you will work closely with a creative and smart 15-year-old girl and her family. You will be with her in her daily life, both at home and potentially at school. The tasks include medical care duties and nursing activities, and you will play a significant role in her development and well-being. We are looking for an assistant who is willing to engage and build a close relationship with our client.

Qualifications

To fit into this role, we would like you to have the following qualifications:

• Required requirements:
• Experience with medical care tasks.
• You are calm, secure, patient, and empathetic.
• You have fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
• You are a non-smoker.
• You should like and tolerate animals.

• Desirable qualifications:
• Experience working with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses.
• Driver's license and access to a car.
• We value if you are a hardworking and loyal person.

Job duties

Your tasks will be varied and include both medical and nursing-related duties. You will:

• Manage and monitor nutritional drips.
• Handle urostomy and ileostomy.
• Monitor central access for nutrition supply.
• Administer medication via gastrostomy and perform hygiene routines around access points.
• Operate a wheelchair when needed and participate in rehabilitation training activities.

You will also be part of a warm and supportive family environment, where you have the opportunity to build a close relationship with our child.
