Are you a driven leader with experience in both leading and developing teams? We are looking for you to take on a central role with responsibility for both operational and strategic matters within our business area Testing & Inspection, with a focus on elevators. If you have a strong focus on results, a passion for employee development, and want to make an impact by building and shaping your team, this is the opportunity for you!

About the role:

As a Unit Manager at Kiwa, you are a key figure with a primary focus on leadership. Thanks to your natural leadership qualities, you will become the core of your team, driving and developing employees. At Kiwa, we collaborate across different business areas, all working towards achieving the organization's goals and visions. This is an exciting role where you have the opportunity to influence and create results in personnel, budget, production, and profitability.

The role also involves continuous work with our business and customer management. We expect you to create new paths and opportunities in the market through your business acumen. Of course, you won't do this alone; you have experts in the field and Kiwa's sales team at your disposal. Together, we create a holistic solution for the customer, delivering high quality.

Your workplace is in Solna, and your team consists of 27 employees, including 1 production manager. Your employees primarily work with inspections and surveys of elevators and escalators. You report directly to the Regional Manager.

Do you have what it takes?

  • University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of documented leadership experience with personnel responsibility.
  • Previous experience in inspection, industry, maintenance service, or other equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with budgeting.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

Experience from the elevator industry is considered an asset.

In addition to the above, we require experience in working with improvement initiatives and driving change processes within a larger organization. We look for someone who has a good understanding of business development and resource planning to create quality and efficiency. As a person, you are analytical and structured, with the ability to plan and execute business strategies both short- and long-term. To succeed as a Unit Manager at Kiwa, you need a "team before self" attitude, focusing on building relationships both internally and externally.

What can you expect from us in return?

Kiwa is today one of the most successful companies within inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting. This is thanks to our employees, whose commitment and knowledge contribute safety and sustainability to our customers and society. Therefore, Kiwa invests heavily in its employees and their development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, you and your skills will continuously develop as part of Kiwa! At Kiwa, "team before self" is important, and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!

  • Secure and stable employment – Kiwa has collective agreements.
  • Generous wellness allowance.
  • Reimbursement for medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis.
  • A time bank so you can take time off when you want – not just on public holidays.
  • The opportunity to join Kiwa's ski trip with approximately 100 pleasant colleagues.
