Jefferson Wells is now looking for experienced operational buyers who want to work on assignments with some of Linköping's most exciting industrial companies. You will step into a business where purchasing is crucial for production and development to function – and where your ability to act quickly, structured, and solution-oriented makes a real difference every day. Please note that the position requires you to undergo and pass a security clearance.

As an operational buyer, you have a central role in the daily purchasing work and are responsible for ensuring that materials, components, and services are available at the right time, with the right quality, and at the right cost. You work closely with production, planning, engineering, and quality in an environment characterized by high demands for delivery precision, traceability, and structure. You actively contribute to ensuring stable supplier flows and play a key role in handling deviations, prioritizing deliveries, and creating conditions for efficient production.

• Order placement, order confirmations, and daily management of purchasing flows
• Material planning based on forecasts, production plans, and project needs
• Delivery monitoring and proactive deviation management related to critical deliveries
• Ongoing supplier dialogues regarding delivery precision, capacity, and quality
• Updating and maintaining item data, prices, and supplier information in business systems
• Support in price dialogues and recurring negotiations
• Follow-up of KPIs such as delivery security, lead times, and inventory levels
• Ensuring documentation and traceability in regulated businesses
• Active participation in improvement work within purchasing processes and methods

Your profile We are looking for you who are confident in your competence within operational purchasing and who thrive in a dynamic, technically advanced environment. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to prioritize in a high-paced setting. You are used to working with multiple contacts and build trusting relationships both internally and externally. At the same time, you have a strong sense of detail and quality in your work, and a natural drive to get things done even when conditions change.

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, engineering, economics, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in operational purchasing, material planning, or order management
• Good understanding of purchasing flows and supply chain processes in an industrial environment
• Experience working with complex products or technical operations
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Experience working in business systems (e.g., SAP or similar) and Excel
