Your role as a Strategic Buyer within Sustainable Supply Chain & Industrialization

We are currently looking for consultants in strategic purchasing for immediate and upcoming needs among our customers. Within these areas, a assignment may involve responsibility for securing the right agreements and suppliers through purchasing/purchasing area strategies and business needs, driving negotiations, supplier development, cost-effective sourcing, coordination, acting as a purchasing representative in development projects, driving improvement projects, and providing support to the business regarding methodology, sustainability, and analysis. The nature and length of assignments may vary but primarily involve working on-site with our customers in their line organization or their projects.

Through your experience, competence, and network, you contribute to developing our customers' operations and profitability. You also participate in internal exchanges and networks at Combitech to contribute to our joint development.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a university or civil engineer with relevant experience. You have the ability to quickly get up to speed in new conditions and contexts and can act pragmatically with a strong sense of responsibility for processes and results. We assume that you thrive in cross-functional environments and have a good ability to express yourself in a technical context in both Swedish and English.

A background in the manufacturing industry in the areas of electronics, mechanics, or the aerospace industry with experience of complex systems and advanced products is meritorious but not a requirement. It is an advantage to have experience from different business systems (e.g., IFS, SAP), MPS, and Business Intelligence systems. The current assignments are primarily in a commercial context, but if you also have experience in public procurement, it may be interesting.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is outgoing and receptive, with the ability to personally and professionally create good contacts and trust-based relationships. We value a habit of working methodically with long-term goal consciousness and endurance, as well as very good communication skills.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, it is required that you undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
