Are you a service-oriented and structured person who wants to develop within procurement and public procurement? Do you want to be an important part of creating good business deals and contributing to the development of Norrköping? Then you might be the person we are looking for!
Who are we?
The Urban Development Department creates value for everyone who lives and works in Norrköping. Here, the entire urban development process is gathered, and every competence is important for us to reach our goals. Here you have the opportunity to develop while contributing to Norrköping's sustainable growth. Together, we solve complex challenges by being innovative and bold. Do you want to be part of it?
We are now looking for a Procurement and Tendering Assistant who wants to be part of our dedicated team in the Tendering Unit.
You will be part of our Tendering Unit, which consists of tendering specialists, contract controllers, a procurement and tendering assistant, and a unit manager. Together, we work to create a qualitative, commercial, and legally secure tendering and procurement process that contributes to the development of the Urban Development Department.
We are located in pleasant, newly renovated premises on Trädgårdsgatan, within walking distance of the city center and the travel center.
Here, you will become part of a positive work group where we value collaboration, development, and well-being at work.
Your responsibilities
As a Procurement and Tendering Assistant, you have an important supporting role in the unit's daily work. You work closely with our tendering specialists and contract controllers and are responsible for administrative tasks throughout the entire tendering and contract process.
The work includes, among other things, diary registration, contract administration, document handling and release of documents, conducting direct procurements, renewed competitive tenders, and call-offs from our framework agreements. You also support the operations in matters concerning procurement and contracts, as well as help with administration in our tendering and contract tools.
You will have ongoing contact with both internal operations and external suppliers.
The position offers a varied daily routine where you get the opportunity to develop your knowledge of public procurement and purchasing while contributing to ensuring our processes function efficiently and legally securely.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a degree from a University College of Engineering (YH) with a focus on procurement, tendering, or another university college or YH education that the employer considers equivalent.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and experience in administrative work. If you have worked in tendering, contract, or financial systems, we view this positively.
As a person, you are service-oriented, responsible, and have an easy time building good relationships. You enjoy collaborating with others while being able to plan, structure, and drive your own work forward.
You have a meticulous work approach and good administrative skills. Since you will handle several parallel tasks, you need to be able to prioritize and adapt based on the operations' needs.
Furthermore, you have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and a curiosity for new systems, as well as good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We welcome your application!
