VPK Packaging Sweden is looking for Account Managers

VPK Packaging is one of Scandinavia's leading packaging suppliers within sustainable packaging. Our products include corrugated packaging, display and packaging machines. The company operates today as One Nordic and has six factories in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. VPK Packaging is part of the Belgian packaging group VPK.

VPK Packaging is on an exciting journey and aims to grow further. We are now strengthening our sales team. We are looking for two Account Managers, B2B, who are passionate about understanding customer needs and can turn them into new business opportunities.

Responsibilities and tasks

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing customers, with a major focus on identifying and processing new customers.

Here, you will have the chance to work in a varied role in collaboration with companies in various industries such as food, e-commerce, and process industries.

To succeed in sales, you need to build relationships, understand customer needs, and sell our packaging solutions. As our face to the customer and internally, you act as a project manager with support from our product development department and our customer service. You create business proposals for customers and are commercially responsible for achieving set goals.

Qualifications and experience

  • You have at least a 3-year upper secondary education, preferably a university or college degree in engineering or economics/marketing. Alternatively, relevant work experience.
  • A few years of experience in similar sales work or work within packaging, distribution, construction, or product development.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market is an advantage, but not a requirement as we will provide you with a thorough introduction and training.
  • Good IT skills, especially regarding the Office suite.
  • Good language skills in both Swedish and English.

  • Business-minded with a good understanding of customer and business needs.
  • Strong drive and the ability to plan and prioritize your work independently.
  • Result-oriented, with a focus on achieving set goals and creating value.
  • Solution-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships.

Other

The position is daytime hours with frequent business travel and overnight stays.

We are looking for an Account Manager based at our unit in Norrköping and one in Western Sweden, with a home office as a starting point.

You have a driver's license, class B.
