Welcome to Östergötland Museum – a vibrant meeting place where we create knowledge experiences that surprise.

Löfstad Castle is part of Östergötland Museum and is a national and international visitor destination, located in the countryside outside Norrköping. The castle, dating back to the 17th century, is preserved intact as it was left by the last private owner, Miss Emilie Piper (1857–1926). The castle is open to visitors for most of the year. The property is owned by the House of Nobility, and the museum operations are run by Östergötland Museum. The grounds also include an inn and a commercial garden.

Our high season is summer, when we are open daily from mid-June to the end of August. During spring and autumn, the castle is open on weekends and public holidays. In addition to guided tours, a number of large and small program events are arranged throughout the year. Our Christmas market and Midsummer celebration are annual, highly appreciated events.

We are now looking for several guides to complement our team for the autumn!
