Nova Health Group was founded with a vision to revolutionize psychiatry and the treatment of mental illness. We strive to offer a modern and patient-centered care experience. About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Controller who wants to take overall responsibility for Nova's accounting – and who sees AI and automation as obvious work tools rather than trends.

This is not a role where you simply follow a checklist. You have a full grasp of the details, but look up when something doesn't look right. You question, improve, and build structures that hold up and scale as Nova grows – in Sweden and internationally.

We are looking for someone who has already restructured flows, automated reporting, and freed up time for what actually requires a sharp mind. Someone who thinks: how can we do this better? – and then actually does it.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying and driving process improvements – with AI and automation as natural tools
• Establishing and consolidating companies in new markets in Europe
• Taking overall responsibility for ongoing accounting and ensuring high quality in the team's work
• Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Managing audits and tax calculations
• Ensuring accounting follows current regulations and principles (K3)
• Managing reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency and the Companies Registration Office
• Building scalable infrastructure for financial data and reporting

Who you are

• At least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Practical experience using AI tools at work – you have streamlined processes, automated reporting, or otherwise integrated AI into your daily work
• Experience producing annual reports and income tax declarations according to K3
• Very good knowledge of Swedish corporate and tax law
• Post-secondary education in economics, accounting, or equivalent
• Experienced in working with web-based ERP systems such as Fortnox or Visma
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Experience with international accounting and knowledge of IFRS are considered merits.

Recruitment Process

1. CV Review – We review applications continuously and assess experience, merits, and how well you fit the role.
2. Psychometric Test – Selected candidates complete a digital psychometric test (totaling approx. 10 minutes). The test is used as a complement to interviews to support a structured and objective assessment.
3. Video Interviews – Candidates who move forward are invited to one or two video interviews via Teams. The conversations focus on your experience, how you think, and who you are as a person.
4. Final Interview with Case Study (on-site in Stockholm) – The final step is an interview at our office in Stockholm.
