Job Responsibilities

As a communicator with us, you work with communication related to Boden Municipality's competence supply and influx. The role combines strategic work with operational implementation in everyday life and close collaboration with our communications unit, KOMM.

You are part of the Influx and Competence Supply Unit and work closely with colleagues, administrations, business life, and external actors. The focus is on strengthening the image of Boden as an attractive place to live, work, and establish oneself, while also contributing to meeting the operations' need for competence.

With overarching direction on site, your work lies in planning, coordinating, and implementing communication initiatives from idea to finished content.

>The work involves among other things that you:

• Plan, coordinate, and implement communication initiatives related to competence supply and influx
• Produce content for various channels, such as web, social media, presentations, and campaigns
• Contribute together with the communications unit to develop and strengthen the place brand Boden
• Collaborate with internal and external actors, such as business life and educational providers
• Prepare materials, messages, and simpler analyses as support for targeted initiatives

The work is varied and requires that you can work independently, while collaborating closely with other functions such as the communications unit, HR, municipal companies, and other municipal operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university/college degree in media and communication or other equivalent education and/or several years of experience that the employer deems equivalent. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, as well as basic knowledge of English. You have a few years of experience in communication work in general, preferably with a focus on graphic design and social media. You have worked with and in various digital channels and platforms, such as intranet and websites. You should also have knowledge of the Adobe package. B-driver's license is a requirement.

Meritorious if you have;

• Experience of working in a politically governed organization
• Experience of place branding work, competence attraction, or employer branding
• Experience of collaboration with business life, educational actors, or other societal actors
• Experience of working in digital channels and platforms
