Do you want to be part of managing the administrative processes that make a difference in our daily lives? We are now looking for an engaged and structured colleague who takes responsibility for our administrative tasks and contributes to a secure, efficient, and user-friendly administrative environment within the Rescue Service.
About the role
As an administrator within the Rescue Service, you have a central role in ensuring the operations run smoothly in everyday life. You plan, coordinate, and drive administrative processes forward with a focus on quality and efficiency.
You work continuously with documentation, registration, communication, and follow-up in various systems, and contribute to ensuring that information is correct, accessible, and up-to-date. The role also involves coordinating various assignments and providing service and support to colleagues, managers, and visitors.
In your role, you will also be the face outward in our reception, which is staffed daily.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, you have at least a high school education and experience in administrative work. You express yourself clearly and professionally in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.
You have an interest in administrative work; you are careful, structured, and quality-conscious. You enjoy working independently and take responsibility for developing routines and working methods.
We believe you are structured, flexible, and solution-oriented, and skilled at understanding other people's needs. You must also be able to handle quickly arising situations and questions, be careful and responsible, and have good organizational and communicative skills.
You find it easy to collaborate, communicate pedagogically, and thrive in a role where you take responsibility and contribute to both stable operations and the long-term development of the administration's support function.
Since the work involves many internal and external contacts, it is of great importance that you have a service-oriented approach. You should master the basic programs in Microsoft Office and find it easy to learn new computer systems.
We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
We are primarily looking for you who have:
- Completed high school education or equivalent competence in another way
- Experience in administrative work
- Strong communicative skills in both speech and writing
- Experience with MS Office and find it easy to learn new computer systems
Meritorious for the position may also be if you have one or more of the following competencies:
- Post-secondary education in service, administration, or economics
- Experience with administrative systems, such as Raindance and Evolution
- Interest and knowledge about communication on social media platforms
