Do you want to work in a company where you take significant responsibility and play a key role in the development of the business? We are now looking for an engaged and structured accounting economist who wants to contribute to the finance function at Storfors Plåt.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an accounting economist with us, you have a broad and varied role where you are responsible for both ongoing accounting and financial follow-up and administration. You work closely with the CEO, Business Manager, Project Manager, and Project Leaders, becoming a key support function for the entire operation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will primarily work with:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and financial administration
• Supplier invoices as well as customer and supplier ledgers
• Monthly closing and reporting
• Budgeting, forecasts, and financial follow-ups
• Administration of financial and administrative systems
• Financial support to the organization and handling of ongoing financial matters
• Assisting in payroll administration by preparing materials for payroll runs and answering payroll-related questions.

You will also contribute to developing our working methods, following up on routines, sharing knowledge with colleagues, and introducing new employees when necessary.

WHO ARE YOU?

You have education in economics or equivalent experience in accounting and financial administration. You are accustomed to working independently and taking personal responsibility, and you are analytical, detail-oriented, and structured. You have good collaboration skills and thrive with many contact points. You are computer literate and have experience with financial systems.

Experience with project accounting or group accounting is considered an advantage.

ABOUT STORFORS PLÅT

Storfors Plåt AB is a Norrland-based installation and sheet metal company founded in 1969. Today, we have approximately 90 employees with operations in Piteå, Luleå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Lycksele, and Arvidsjaur. Since 2023, Storfors Plåt has been part of the Comfort Chain, one of Sweden's largest installation chains within plumbing, ventilation, electricity, and energy optimization.
