The administrative unit for Child and Adolescent Medicine consists of 18 medical care administrators and 4 administrative staff. The team is spread across the region's four clinics:

• Child and Adolescent Clinic at Örebro University Hospital
• Child and Adolescent Clinic at Stora Holmen
• Child and Adolescent Clinic at Karlskoga Hospital
• Child and Adolescent Clinic at Lindesberg Hospital

In addition to the clinics, the department includes two inpatient wards, day care, and a paramedical unit. You will collaborate closely with other professional groups, making teamwork and a service-oriented attitude crucial. At the Child and Adolescent Clinic at Örebro University Hospital, there are a total of 13 medical care administrators and two administrative staff members.

The administrative unit is a central function that ensures all administrative processes run smoothly and that patients receive the care and support they need. The unit handles tasks such as patient registration, medical record documentation, booking and coordination, communication and information, invoicing and financial management, document and mail handling, archiving, IT support for healthcare staff, and reception duties.

Job Responsibilities

The role includes standard duties for a medical care administrator, including documentation, diagnosis classification, handling referrals, contacting patients, and other administrative tasks. The specific content of the work may vary depending on your area of responsibility.

Qualifications

We are looking for a trained medical care administrator who enjoys varied administrative tasks in healthcare. You must have excellent command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
