About the role:

In this role, you will become the technical representative for the electrical engineering operations in Sweden. You will serve as the link between different functions within the organization to adapt requirements, priorities, integration, and delivery expectations. The position involves, among other things, driving the development and implementation of next-generation HPC (high-performance computing) and software-defined vehicle (SDV) architectures. You will be responsible for transforming architectural concepts into robust and production-ready electrical and electronic solutions. There will be a strong focus on centralized computing platforms, high-speed communication, and integrated vehicle systems. In this role, you will lead the design and development of E/E subsystems, translate system and architecture specifications into detailed electrical designs, and provide technical support for hardware integration, system development, troubleshooting, and validation. You will also ensure efficient system integration between hardware and software. The position also involves clarifying requirements, maintaining close coordination with the customer, and supporting technical activities with the customer.

The position is a resident role, meaning you will be employed by AUMOVIO but will primarily work on-site at one of the customers that AUMOVIO collaborates with.

Requirements:

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable field.
• Preferably more than 5 years of experience in development within automotive electrotechnics.
• Good knowledge of E/E architectures and HPC platforms (SoC, GPU-based systems) with exposure to automotive networks (Automotive Ethernet, CAN, etc.).
• Understanding of SoCs, GPUs, accelerators, memory hierarchies, bandwidth limitations, as well as power and thermal aspects.
• Understanding of cross-functional development in an international environment.
• Understanding of coordination between system, software, test, quality, and project management functions.
• Fluent in English.

Desirable qualifications:

• Background in body/vehicle control units and/or battery management systems for electric vehicles.
• Good ability regarding basic development methods, structured problem-solving, and release-oriented execution.
• Good communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable development priorities.
• Fluent in Swedish.
