ALTEN Sweden is now looking for a Mechatronics Design Engineer with strong CAD skills to join an exciting automotive project in Gothenburg. You will work hands-on with the design and integration of mechatronic components, with a focus on packaging and system performance.

About the role

As a Mechatronics CAD Engineer, you will:

• Design and develop mechatronic components using Catia
• Work with the concept phase before suppliers are onboarded, through to finalizing the design including integrating final components and systems
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on mechanical, mechatronic, and electrical design and integration topics
• Ensure designs meet requirements for quality, performance, and manufacturability

Who You Are

We are seeking an engineer with:

• Several years of experience in CAD design and packaging
• Strong Catia V5 skills
• Experience in mechatronic systems
• Knowledge of integration of Full Service Supplier (FSS) products (required)
• Automotive industry experience
• A degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
