About the role:

In this role, you will be the on-site technical person for practical electrical engineering activities in Sweden. You will act as the link between different functions in the organization to execute local modifications. The role includes tasks such as manual rework operations on printed circuit boards (PCB) for prototypes, component replacement, and mechanical assembly. You will need to read and interpret wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical drawings to support prototype construction, troubleshooting, and testing of peripheral equipment. The position also involves ensuring compliance with ESD and safety requirements, as well as functional verification prior to launch. The role covers procurement, ordering, and handling of electronic and mechanical components for prototype and testing activities, as well as supplier communication, order follow-up, specification verification, and coordination with other teams. You will also work closely with our customers and therefore need to have good communication skills.

The position is a resident role, meaning you will be employed by AUMOVIO but primarily work on-site at one of the customers that AUMOVIO collaborates with.

Requirements:

• Vocational degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field. The education must have included practical training.
• 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Use of test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter).
• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Basic programming and diagnostics of control units.
• Troubleshooting faults in real systems.
• Fluent English.

Preferred:

• Fluent Swedish.
