You will join a highly specialized automotive safety environment where advanced simulation, research and engineering are used to improve how people are protected in crashes. The focus of this role is occupant protection in frontal and rear impacts, where your analysis will support the development of safer future vehicles.

As part of an experienced team, you will use finite element simulations to evaluate safety performance, interpret results from both virtual and physical testing, and help move technical solutions forward. You will contribute to work that supports legal requirements, consumer rating targets and ambitious internal safety standards. This is a strong opportunity for you who want to apply advanced CAE methods in a technically deep role with clear real-world impact.

• You will create and develop virtual CAE simulation models for crash safety analysis.
• You will run simulations and analyze results from both virtual and physical tests.
• You will support the team in evaluating occupant protection performance in frontal and rear crash scenarios.
• You will contribute to the development of technical solutions and numerical methods within crash safety.
• You will work closely with skilled engineers to improve safety performance and help meet regulatory, rating and internal targets.

• MSc in Engineering within a relevant area.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with CAE tools such as LS-Dyna, Ansa and Meta Post.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within crash CAE analysis.
• Experience in running simulations with Crash Test Dummies and performing Occupant Analysis.
• Good analytical capability.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and get things done together with others.

• Knowledge of product development processes in an automotive OEM environment.
• Experience from other OEMs within the CAE safety area.
• Experience working with HBMs.
• Experience from physical testing within crash safety.
• Skills in scripting languages such as Python, Matlab or similar.
