We are looking for a Fullstack Developer in IoT and AI to join Nodeledge in Skövde

– A tech-heavy all-round developer who also enjoys customer contact and training

Do you enjoy writing code that actually controls physical devices in the real world? Do you get a kick out of seeing a sensor go from “offline” to “reporting data” after you’ve fixed a bug in the backend? Do you also want to combine heavy technical development with helping and training the customers who actually use the system? Then you might be our next colleague.

We are looking for a jack-of-all-trades – the spider in the web – who has a few years of experience and enjoys digging into code just as much as delivering engaging product training to a customer.

About the role and your daily life

We are building Sensor-Online – our own IoT platform that currently runs on all continents and is used by everyone from Swedish industrial companies to international corporations. As a developer here, you will be a key person in driving the platform forward and ensuring our customers get maximum value from it.

A typical day in the role may include:

• Fullstack Development: Building new robust features in the C# backend and React frontend for Sensor-Online.
• Data & AI: Optimizing flows in InfluxDB and building smart logic/AI functions to analyze time-series data from thousands of devices.
• Customer Support & Troubleshooting: Receiving technical questions from customers and acting as a detective – is it the code, the network, or the hardware causing issues?
• Conducting Training: Leading technical training and onboarding for new and existing customers so they understand the platform’s full potential.
• Automation: Assembling efficient flows in Node-RED or n8n to solve customers’ automation needs.
• Server Operations & Protocols: Managing Linux servers, analyzing logs, and evaluating protocol choices (e.g., MQTT vs. REST).

Who we think you are

You have worked as a developer for a few years and want to understand the entire chain – from sensor to cloud and all the way out to the end user. Since the role involves both support and training, it is important that you are communicative, pedagogical, and enjoy talking to people, while having a strong technical foundation.

We expect and hope that you have a good grasp of:

• Development: You are skilled in C# and React and feel comfortable with modern system architecture.
• Databases & AI: You have experience with InfluxDB (or similar time-series systems) and an interest in data analysis and AI.
• Social & Pedagogical Skills: You have a strong service mindset, are pedagogical, and feel confident giving presentations or training to groups.
• Linux & Networking: You navigate Linux environments and understand basic networking (subnets, firewalls, and traffic troubleshooting).
• Plus: Experience with Node-RED, n8n, MQTT, LoRaWAN, or other IoT protocols.
