Job Description

Do you want a job where your commitment really makes a difference? As a care assistant with Landskrona Omsorg's home care services, you will have the opportunity every day to contribute to the security and quality of life for our elderly residents. You will become an important part of a committed team that together creates a stable and meaningful everyday life for the inhabitants of Landskrona.

As a care assistant in home care, you provide support and nursing to individuals in their own homes, working based on implementation plans, decisions, and assessed assistance measures. The work is varied and independent, and you travel between clients by bicycle or car depending on the needs of the operation. You collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and licensed personnel. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Performing personal care such as help with hygiene, dressing and undressing, and transfers.
• Carrying out approved social services (SoL) measures and delegated healthcare (HSL) tasks according to current routines.
• Creating security and continuity through social interaction and professional interaction.
• Observing changes in users' health status and reporting deviations.
• Documenting performed measures and working based on implementation plans.
• Following current confidentiality, quality, and safety routines.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who is confident in themselves and meets other people with respect, sensitivity, and empathy. You work in a structured and responsible manner, have the ability to plan your work, and maintain calm even in stressful or unexpected situations. You are flexible and service-oriented in a way that facilitates interaction with both users and colleagues. Collaboration is second nature to you, and you actively contribute to a positive work environment with a solution-oriented approach.

Requirements for the position:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Educated as a care assistant (or has other relevant education/experience for the position).
• Experience working within healthcare and social care.
• Good proficiency in Swedish (speaking, reading, and writing), as the job requires communication and documentation.
• Basic digital competence.
• Bicycle proficiency.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

In addition to these requirements, it is meritorious if you have previous experience working in home care. We would appreciate it if you had further education in areas such as dementia or psychiatry. Experience with documentation in Lifecare and/or Appva is also considered meritorious.

For employment at Landskrona Omsorg, you must present a certificate of good conduct in an unsealed envelope. The certificate you need to order is called Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities.
