Your Assignment

As a nursing assistant at Säterigården elderly care facility in Mölnlycke, you provide our residents with secure, dignified, and person-centered care. You support them in daily life based on individual needs and implementation plans, working to strengthen participation, independence, and quality of life. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a secure and meaningful everyday life for the residents.

The work includes personal care, social interaction, activities, meal support, service tasks, as well as delegated health and medical care duties. You are also responsible for social documentation and have contact with relatives.

You work closely with colleagues in a team and actively contribute to good cooperation, professional treatment, and a secure environment for both users and employees. The role requires responsibility, high integrity, and a quality-conscious approach. We primarily seek you who are trained as a nursing assistant, and secondarily, you who are not yet trained but are open to training and otherwise suitable for work within healthcare.

Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts. The facility is located in a beautiful natural setting in the Säteriet residential area in Mölnlycke, with proximity to both transportation and nature.

Joint Planning – How It Works Here

Härryda Municipality works to create stable operations with increased basic staffing. This means we apply joint planning, where you have a home unit but can also work shifts at other units if needed.

The purpose is to ensure continuity and secure care for the users, while giving you the opportunity for variation, experience sharing, and competence development. An introduction is provided so you feel secure in your assignment.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Be trained as a nursing assistant.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Have good digital competence and experience with social documentation.
• Be able to take and follow delegated health and social care tasks.

Merits

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in care and nursing homes (somatic and/or dementia).
• Further education in dementia, psychiatry, or welfare technology.
• Experience in quality and value-based work.
• Experience with systems such as Treserva, TES, and the BPSD register.
