We are now looking for an engaged care assistant (undersköterska) for night shifts at Säterigården in Mölnlycke. Are you secure, responsible, and do you have a genuine interest in working with elderly people? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
As a care assistant with us, you work to provide our residents with secure, safe, and individualized care. Duties include personal care, support during meals, social interaction, activities, cleaning, and laundry. You also perform delegated health and medical care tasks based on the residents' individual needs, as well as being responsible for social documentation and contact with relatives.
We work actively with representative assignments, which gives you the opportunity to develop in your professional role and contribute to the continued development of the operations.
The position involves night work with weekend duties.
Härryda Municipality is working to reduce the proportion of hourly employees and instead increase the core staffing. Therefore, the municipality applies joint planning, which means you will work some shifts at other units, but your main working time will be performed at your home unit.
In the first instance, we are looking for you who are trained as a care assistant. In the second instance, we look for you who are not yet trained but are open to doing so and are otherwise suitable for work within healthcare.
Requirements
To be considered for the position, you need:
- To be trained as a care assistant (undersköterska)
- To have good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written
- To have good digital competence and experience with social documentation
- To be able to take and follow delegated health and medical care tasks
Merits
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with night work
- Further education within dementia, psychiatry, or welfare technology
- Experience with quality and value-based work
- Experience with systems such as Treserva, TES, and the BPSD register
