NU-sjukvården is part of the Region of Västra Götaland and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area covers 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are approximately 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, and our area offers varied nature with both sea, mountains, forest, and lakes.

About Us

The Dermatology Clinic is located at Uddevalla Hospital, and consultancy services are provided at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan. We treat patients with various types of skin diseases, skin tumors, and sexually transmitted infections. The clinic also has a light therapy unit. The Dermatology Clinic in NU-sjukvården is part of the business area Infection, Hematology, and Dermatology.

Our team consists of 30 employees: 15 doctors, 11 nurses, and 4 assistant nurses.

About the Job

The work involves standard clinic duties in close collaboration with our specialist doctors in dermatology.

Duties include assisting during doctor visits, wound dressing changes, sample collection, handling parts of cases in 1177 and SAMSA, and working at our light therapy unit.

Our clinics consist largely of tumor clinics, where you will assist during operations.

The work at the clinic is carried out during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

• Have previous experience from clinic work and wound care, which we see as a great advantage.
• Are good at listening and communicating with both patients and relatives.

• Are confident and stable in yourself and can adapt to the situation and prioritize.

• Like to collaborate with different professional categories.
• See opportunities and find solutions to problems that arise, and want to contribute to the development of the business.

From July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" (undersköterska) is a protected professional title. This means you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title assistant nurse within healthcare and social care. Other Information

Interviews are planned to start in week 33.

The position may be placed in a security classification. This means that security clearance and register checks may be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act before employment.
