Job Description

As a special educator, you play a central role in the school's student health services and work closely with the principal, the student health team, and pedagogical staff.

Your responsibilities include:

• Participate in the school's promoting and preventive student health work on behalf of the principal.
• Investigate students' needs for special support, and prepare, follow up, and evaluate action plans.
• Mentor teachers and work teams in developing teaching and learning environments based on students' diverse needs.
• Plan and implement competence-building initiatives for staff.
• Contribute to the school's systematic quality work together with the principal through follow-up, analysis, evaluation, and development initiatives.
• Serve as a key collaborative partner between students, guardians, and school staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified primary school teacher with a degree in special education.
• Has good knowledge and experience in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF), such as ADHD and autism.
• Can translate research, evidence, and proven experience into sustainable working methods in school learning environments.
• Is a confident mentor capable of leading collegial learning and conducting training initiatives for staff.
• Is structured, analytical, solution-focused, and skilled at building trusting relationships.
• Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.
• Has strong digital competence.

A B-class driver's license is desirable as the role may involve travel between municipal operations.

Employment Terms

Duration: Start date: 2026-11-02 According to agreement.
