Your role

Together with the rest of the work team, you plan, implement, develop, and evaluate the operations to create conditions for students' knowledge development and a good learning environment based on the school's governing documents. You educate and support students in their social and knowledge development. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others.

Your knowledge and experience

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach physical education in grades pre-school to 6. We would also appreciate it if you could teach more subjects in grades pre-school to 6. You are flexible, have a positive view of students, and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy being in development and continuous learning. You have the ability to develop the work based on the mission in the curriculum. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Your future workplace

We are a two-parallel school with approximately 240 students and two after-school care departments in Kvänum, Vara Municipality. Here, 29 employees work to provide our students with the conditions and opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills. We work according to the vision "The Child All Day". We learn and develop together - through security, community, and respect. Nästegårdsskolan f-6 works to ensure that all students have a developmental day. Everyone should develop based on their individual abilities and own and take responsibility for their own learning. Through our collaborative work, staff and students cooperate for a safe school.

Other

The position is a full-time temporary assignment during the period August 12, 2026 – December 18, 2026, with possible extension. Part of the position involves teaching physical education and health. It is meritorious if you are qualified to teach more subjects in grades pre-school to 6.

In our operations, everyone who is to be employed must, according to law (2000:873), present an extract from the criminal record register. The form can be downloaded at www.polisen.se/Service and it takes between 1-2 weeks to receive it by mail. You can now also receive your extract from the police's criminal record register as digital mail.
