Here, we provide municipal healthcare in the patient's home environment, both in ordinary housing and in care and nursing homes. Every day, we meet patients with varying rehabilitation needs, which gives a great breadth in the work and good opportunities to develop in your professional role. In our licensed team, there are several occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses who work with the same patients as you.

As an occupational therapist, you plan your week and workday independently. A typical day usually includes patient visits, meetings, and documentation as well as other administrative work. You work from a person-centered approach with a focus on the patient's resources and participation, and carry out interventions based on individual goals, with the aim of strengthening independence and quality of life. You are responsible for activity assessments, rehabilitation interventions, and follow-ups based on occupational therapy competence. Other important tasks include supervising nursing staff, prescribing and testing out medical technical aids, and assessing the need for housing adaptations and other measures that facilitate the patient's daily life.

Today, we operate geographically from Kultivatorgatan in Angered, but from spring 2027, we will operate from new, fine premises in Gamlestaden. There, we will gather all healthcare in North Gothenburg, from today's two offices to one common one. This is exciting work ahead of us with new premises and new colleagues who can inspire even more creativity and collaboration.

About You

Requirements:

• Licensed occupational therapist.
• B-driver's license and good driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, as we communicate and document in Swedish.
