Safety Coordinator for Team-OSS

About the Employer

Team-OSS operates sheltered housing and support housing for individuals with protection needs resulting from, among other things, domestic violence, honor-related violence, and other serious vulnerability.

We work based on the guiding principles of Specialized Competence, Commitment, and Credibility. Our goal is to offer secure, professional, and individually adapted support where safety is always the focus.

We are now looking for an experienced Safety Coordinator who wants to make a real difference for people in vulnerable life situations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the client's care and implementation plan.
  • Act as a contact person towards the client, social services, police, healthcare, schools, and other collaborating actors.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety planning.
  • Document according to current legislation and the organization's quality requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients during their stay.
  • Participate in the development of the organization's safety work and routines.

The role involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with other employees.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 180 ECTS credits, e.g., a degree in Social Work, behavioral science education, or another equivalent higher education degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with victims of violence or within sheltered housing.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Good documentation habits.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits

  • Experience from social services' work with domestic violence (VINR).
  • Experience as a safety coordinator or coordinator within sheltered housing.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence, honor-related violence, trauma bonding, and the mechanisms of violence.
  • Experience with risk assessments according to FREDA, PATRIARK, SARA:V3, and SAM.
  • Training in BRA conversations, Freedom Conversations, or equivalent.
  • Step 1 training.
