We are now looking for a personal assistant for a cheerful and positive woman with muscular dystrophy who lives with her husband and children on Stora Essingen.

About the assignment

The client needs help with daily routines and personal care. The work involves, among other things, assistance with transfers, personal hygiene, meals, household chores, and other daily activities.

The transfers are done manually, which means you need to be physically fit and strong in your arms.

The client appreciates assistants who take initiative, are attentive to what needs to be done, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the home. Since there are children in the family, it is important that you like children and have a natural and respectful attitude towards them.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is secure, responsible, and has a positive approach.
• Takes initiative and sees what needs to be done.
• Has good physical ability and is strong in the arms.
• Is sensitive and works with respect for the client's self-determination.
• Enjoys working closely with people and wants to make a difference in someone else's daily life.
• Has an easy time collaborating with both the client, the family, and other assistants.
• Previous experience in personal assistance or care is meritorious but not a requirement – personal suitability is most important.

Working hours and degree of employment

We are looking for hourly employees who can work as needed.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and can step in with short notice when regular staff is absent.

The work shifts are primarily scheduled Monday–Friday, 08:00–13:00.

Work may also occur on weekends if needed.

The working hours may be adjusted based on the client's needs, which means the work shift may start or end approximately one hour earlier or later. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible and can adapt when needs arise.

Salary:

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensations occur according to the collective agreement.

Start date:

According to agreement.
