WeMind HVB is a subsidiary of WeMind Psychiatry operating residential care homes for young boys with mental health issues. We are located on a fantastic estate on Gålö in Haninge Municipality.

Our starting point is that we believe placed youths need exceptionally good interventions to turn a negative development around. Therefore, we invest in a concept where care is designed and implemented by highly specialized professionals who work closely with the youths in their daily lives.

Working as a Care Assistant at WeMind HVB

As a care assistant with us, you primarily work with supporting the youths in their daily routines. This mainly means that you become a key person for implementing our interaction strategies, one of the most important parts of our treatment model. In practical terms, the work involves being available to plan and carry out leisure activities, supporting the implementation of school and employment, and assisting with daily routines such as waking up/going to bed, activities, and meals. If you show interest and aptitude, you can also help with planned treatment elements in collaboration with our psychologists and/or function as a contact person with extended responsibilities within network work.

We are located on a fantastic estate on Gålö in Haninge Municipality. The position involves shift work, 37 hours per week, on a rolling 8-week schedule with duties on weekdays and weekends.

About you

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged, solution-focused, and has a genuine interest in people. We would appreciate it if you were a patient person with good knowledge of practical treatment work with youths.

Requirements:

  • 2-year post-secondary education in social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science (full-time, certificate required)
  • Category B driver's license
  • Certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record)

Merits:

  • Work within HVB homes or other equivalent operations

We are currently seeking two trained care assistants who are interested in joining our work group. Here, you will have the chance to work with highly specialized colleagues in a lovely work environment. You will learn about and work based on our treatment methods, which are specialized in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). We do not expect you to be an expert in ABA before you start, but we do expect you to have the willingness and curiosity to learn more about the method.

We are looking for you who are an engaged, stable, and patient person with good knowledge of practical treatment work with youths. Preferably with experience from working in residential care/HVB/housing operations.
