The Social Housing Unit in Södertälje Municipality is now seeking a social secretary for a fixed-term position focused on refugees and integration. In this role, you will work in a supportive and guiding capacity, meeting individuals and families at various stages of the establishment process.

This position does not involve exercising official authority.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide support, guidance, and motivational work to individuals and families.
• Work with issues related to housing, establishment, and integration.
• Coordinate efforts together with internal and external partners.
• Act as a support in contact with authorities and societal actors.
• Follow up and document efforts.
• Contribute to the development of working methods within the area.
• Receive and pick up individuals upon arrival and assignment.

Who are you?

Requirements:

• A degree in Social Work or other relevant higher education.
• Experience in social work.
• Interest and preferably experience in working with refugees and integration.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits:

• Language skills in addition to Swedish and English.
• Experience in coordinating or supporting work within public operations.

The position is a fixed-term appointment with access according to agreement and until 2028-06-15. The location is Södertälje. The operations are centrally located near transport connections such as commuter trains, buses, and commuter parking.
