Personal Assistant in Ekerö

Särnmark Assistans is now looking for an assistant for a client in Ekerö.

The client is a man living in a villa with his wife. He needs help with daily life activities and uses aids such as a wheelchair and a lift. As an assistant, you will help with physical support (hand-holding) and provide sighted guide assistance when the client moves around in his wheelchair, as he has limited vision.

To fit this role, you need to be able to take initiative and enjoy casual conversation. It is a plus if you enjoy watching sports or horse racing. Being a certified nursing assistant (undersköterska) is a big plus, though not a requirement, as personal chemistry is the most important factor. You must be able to speak Swedish fluently.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.

To get to the client, there is a bus stop nearby with good bus connections. If you have a car, free parking is available.

Employment Requirements

In your application, you must state your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a permanent residence permit in Sweden to be employed by Särnmark.

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required by law for all personal assistant positions:
