About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, and therefore tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer. We are looking for you who have enormous patience, are sensitive to non-verbal communication, and have the ability to give the customer 100% focus and attention. You are professional in difficult situations and ensure the creation of a calm environment with minimal stress and noise.

The position requires that you have:

• Previous experience with challenging behavior
• Low-affective handling (calm and composed approach)
• Experience with PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and slideshows

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on an as-needed basis with varying working hours during the day and evening, on both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations occur according to the collective agreement.

Start date according to agreement.
