We are now looking for another personal assistant to join our wonderful team. You will be working with a 7-year-old girl who lives in a terraced house in Nynäshamn with her mother, father, and three cats.

About the role

You will help the girl with everything in her daily life: exercises, feeding, hygiene, medication, reading books, and accompanying her to school.

Introduction takes place on-site, where you will work together with a colleague until you feel comfortable working independently.

About the client

The girl loves music, books, and everything related to Greta Gris (Piggy Greta). She has an undiagnosed brain disease involving very difficult-to-treat epilepsy and brain damage. She is wheelchair-bound and has reduced function, primarily on the right side of her body. The girl has a gastrostomy button (G-tube) for tube feeding and fluids, but also eats orally. She attends an adapted school part-time.

About you

We are looking for someone who is child-loving. Experience working with children and/or within healthcare and social care is desirable. You must speak, read, and write Swedish well. Knowledge of English is a plus.

You must be non-smoking during working hours and not allergic to or afraid of cats.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, responsible, empathetic, physically fit, and resilient. Personal chemistry between you and the family is important. The parents are often home, and we would like you to be someone we can talk and joke with, and who becomes a natural part of our daily life.

You will perform important work and be a source of security in the girl's life, as well as for the rest of the family. It is important to us that you see the client as a person and look beyond her disabilities and illness.

Working hours and salary

A position is available for approximately 20%. You must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Opportunities for extra work may occur.

Fixed hourly wage with shift supplements and holiday pay. Generous wellness allowance of 4,000 SEK/year.

Start date and salary according to agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

God Assistans cares for its assistants, has a collective agreement, and offers a wellness allowance of up to 4,000 SEK/year depending on the extent of employment.
