About the assignment

Our client is a man with a large social network who enjoys spending time with friends and family. He has previously been very active in sports, with interests such as alpine skiing and tennis, and he still enjoys being outdoors in nature as well as traveling.

The client uses a wheelchair and needs your help with personal hygiene, changing clothes, household chores, and exercise routines. Transfers are done with assistive devices or a slide board, which means the role requires you to be physically strong and confident in handling these practical tasks. There is a dog in the home that is an important part of daily life, and your duties include accompanying the client and the dog on walks.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Since the client values his social daily life, we are looking for someone who is comfortable in social situations and can provide support both at home and during activities out in the community.

Requirements for the position:

• Willing to work for a 47-year-old man living on Lidingö.

• Physically strong, as heavy transfers occur.

• Good knowledge of Swedish or English.

• Tolerant of pets (there is a dog in the home).

• Non-smoker during working hours.

Merits for the position:

• Previous experience from healthcare or personal assistance.

• Experience with catheter care.

• Experience with wound dressing changes.

• Confident in handling transfer aids and slide boards.

• Shares the client's interest in nature, socializing, and an active life.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying working hours during the day, evening, and night (waiting period between 00:00-06:00). There will also be an opportunity to work on a schedule for three weeks during the summer, weeks 26, 27, and 28.

Salary:

Fixed hourly rate according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to collective agreement.

Start date:

According to agreement.
