Do you want to work as a Project Buyer within construction and real estate, contributing to the development of Lidl's new and existing stores in Sweden?
We are now looking for you who have experience in construction procurement, construction projects, and framework agreement negotiations. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for procurement, cost optimization, and commercial terms in our store establishments.

About the role
As a Project Buyer within construction, you are responsible for creating commercial prerequisites in Lidl's construction projects – from procurement to the finished store. You work closely with our construction project managers and ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-optimized solutions.
You belong to an engaged team of five people at the headquarters in Barkarby and collaborate with project teams in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.
Your responsibilities include:
Responsibility for procurement of construction contractors (new builds and renovations)
Negotiate and sign framework agreements with contractors and suppliers
Drive commercial processes and contract negotiations
Monitor construction costs, calculations, and contracts
Ensure quality in construction projects and installations
Support project managers throughout the process – from procurement to completion
About you
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
3–5 years of experience in construction, contracting, or property development
Relevant higher education or equivalent knowledge acquired from working life
Good understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of construction projects and is accustomed to working in a business-driven environment
Experience in procurement and negotiation in construction projects
Good knowledge of contracting law, especially AB 04, ABT 06, and ABK 09
Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical descriptions
Experience working with cost tracking and commercial terms
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for the position.
It is an advantage if you also have:
Experience from contracting companies or construction management
Experience from construction within the retail industry
As a person, you are communicative, adaptable, and structured. You easily build trusting relationships, are confident in dialogue with various stakeholders, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can quickly adapt to new conditions. At the same time, you work methodically and have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and drive your work forward.
