Do you want a job where no two days are alike?

Riddersvik Manor is a family-run conference and hotel facility featuring a restaurant, wedding venue, and event halls. We are now looking for an engaged and experienced team member who wants to be a key part of our operations.

At our place, we work closely together and help out wherever needed. One day you might be welcoming hotel guests and conference groups at the reception, and the next day you could be serving a three-course dinner or ensuring a wedding runs smoothly according to plan. It is this variety that makes the work both enjoyable and developmental.

About the position

The duties include, among other things:

  • Check-in and check-out of hotel guests
  • Conference hosting and guest service
  • Hotel bookings via email
  • Serving lunches, dinners, and festive events
  • Preparations for conferences, weddings, and other events
  • Ensuring our guests receive warm, personal, and professional treatment

For the right person, there are excellent opportunities for development. We would like you to have the ambition to eventually take on responsibility on-site during our weddings and larger events.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a few years of experience from the hotel, conference, or restaurant industry and thrives in a broad role where service, responsibility, and flexibility go hand in hand.

You are accustomed to working independently, have good judgment, and enjoy taking responsibility. You are unpretentious and do not hesitate to jump in where needed – whether it involves checking in a hotel guest, managing a conference group, or serving a three-course dinner.

We also believe that you:

  • Are service-oriented and have a genuine interest in people.
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize when many things are happening simultaneously.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.
  • Are proficient with computers. Experience with hotel or booking systems is a plus.

This is not the right job for you if:

You are looking for a job where tasks look the same every day, or if you only want to work in reception or solely in serving.

At Riddersvik Manor, we work as a team where we support each other and help out across departmental boundaries. This is a prerequisite for us to deliver the high quality and personal service that our guests expect.

Does this sound like a workplace where you would thrive? Then we look forward to receiving your application!
