About CJ Automotive

CJ Automotive is a privately owned, international company with roots dating back to 1895 and headquarters in Dalstorp, Västra Götaland. We design, develop, and manufacture pedal assemblies for vehicles. With approximately 2 million units per year, we are a central supplier to Europe's automotive production. About the Role

As a Senior Buyer with us, you will have overall responsibility for sourcing, supplier relations, and contract negotiations within assigned material and component areas. You will work closely with another buyer, R&D, production engineering, project managers, and our operational buyers to ensure competitive and sustainable supplier solutions.

The role involves, among other things:

• Driving sourcing processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Developing existing supplier relationships and identifying new ones.
• Participating in product development projects as the procurement representative.
• Monitoring and analyzing delivery precision, quality, and cost.
• Visiting and qualifying suppliers, as well as participating in supplier audits.
• Contributing to the development of our procurement strategies and working methods.

You report to the Supply Chain Manager and work primarily on-site in Dalstorp, with some planned travel within Sweden and Europe.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have at least three years of experience in strategic procurement within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on the automotive sector. You are experienced in supplier negotiations, contract writing, and sourcing of direct materials. Your technical understanding is strong, and you have a genuine interest in production-related issues. Furthermore, you have the ability to drive improvement work and thrive on finding smart and efficient solutions. You are fluent in Swedish and have very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. If you also have experience with the business system Monitor, it is an extra plus.
